We offer a range of tree treatments to help your trees stay happy and healthy.
While trees have adapted to be strong and enduring, they are still susceptible to disease and outside attacks from pests like insects. These types of problems can spread through a variety of channels, including through interconnected root systems, leaf canopies, and insects or birds. Seeking out tree treatments as soon as you spot signs of a problem can be the difference between protecting your healthy trees and watching them all slowly fall prey to the ravages of infection or infestation. If you’re in the Fort Worth, Texas area, our team at Southern Charm Tree Care would be proud to help.
Some of the most common tree treatments we provide include:
- Oak Wilt Treatment — Oak wilt is a fungal disease that targets, as its name suggests, oak trees. This disease can spread quickly through the root systems and is also carried by insects. We may use a variety of tree treatments to help prevent or slow the spread of oak wilt, including fungicide application, trenching between trees, removal of infected trees to mitigate the risk of spread, and proper management practices like scheduled pruning and monitoring.
- Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) Treatment — The emerald ash borer is an invasive beetle that kills ash trees by burrowing into their bark and feeding on the live tissue that transports water and nutrients for the tree. We can apply pesticides, remove infested trees, or use several different biological controls to interrupt the beetle life cycle.
The key thing we like to stress with our tree treatments is that many tree diseases and pests can be prevented or mitigated with careful monitoring and regular inspections. Our team is proud to have a Board-Certified Master Arborist at our head who can provide the insight and expertise you need to best protect your trees.
